Information on all right to buy sales and applications in last 5 years

Please could I request information on all council properties in which an application was made for the Right to Buy scheme (irrespective of whether the property ultimately ended up being sold) in the last 5 years including this year to date.

For each property, could you also provide:
- current status (e.g. offer given, pending HMRC valuation, offer accepted, sold)
- address (as precise as is possible)
- number of bedrooms
- initial council/landlord valuation and date of valuation
- if initial council/landlord valuation contested by tenant, then valuation from district valuer from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and date of this valuation
- discount given
- amount the property was sold for (if sold) and date of sale

Please could the information be provided in CSV / Excel format, with each property application and relevant information as above given on a new row.

From 2017 to present

1. How many valuations, resulted in appeals to the district valuer

2. If any, how many of these resulted in an increase of the original
valuation
(a) detail the increase of the original valuation

3. If any, how many of these resulted in a reduction in the original
valuation
(b) detail the reduction of the original valuation

Please confirm this wording for your request or revise and resubmit for
further response.
 
I will not be able to take this matter further without this extra
information from you. Please let me know by 25/10/2022.

Dear London Borough of Newham,

Thank you for your response. We would like the information as requested in the initial FOI request. In response to asking for the following: "if initial council/landlord valuation contested by tenant, then valuation from district valuer from HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and date of this valuation", the response given was : "Our reporting system cannot facilitate this request for information in an automated format."

In response to this we referenced a previous request from 2017 in which it was possible to provide this information. We are requesting that information on valuation from the HMRC district valuer be given, and if it is not possible to do so in automated manner, then please provide this information for at least the last 2 years to date manually.

If you require any further clarification on this request, I am happy to clarify further but I hope it is now clear.
