Information on Adult ADHD Assessment and Treatment Services
Dear Northern Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),
I am requesting information on Adult ADHD assessment and treatment services provided by your trust, specifically:
1. Referrals for ADHD assessment:
a. Number of adults referred for ADHD assessment, categorised by referral source for each of the past 5 years.
2. Wait Times for ADHD Assessment:
a. Minimum, maximum, and median wait times from referral to the first ADHD assessment by referral source over the past 5 years.
3. ADHD Assessments Completed:
a. Number of adults assessed for ADHD, broken down by referral source, for each of the past 5 years.
4. Consultant Resources:
a. Details on consultant resources allocated to adult ADHD assessments over the past 5 years.
b. Details on consultant resources allocated to adult ADHD assessments in the next 2 years.
Additionally, please provide:
5. ADHD Referral and Assessment Pathway:
a. Current documentation outlining the adult ADHD referral and assessment pathway, including triage and discharge processes.
6. Triaging Guidelines:
a. Guidelines for triaging ADHD referrals, specifically detailing criteria for priority and urgent cases.
7. Future Plans:
a. Latest draft plans or documents for the provision, expansion, or restoration of ADHD services within your trust.
b. Target implementation dates where available.
If your trust does not currently commission Adult ADHD assessment/treatment services currently, but did so within the past 5 years, please provide any available statistics/most recent documents.
