I refer to your FOI request dated 9 July 2019 and have noted your
questions and my response below:

 

What is the current structure of your Information Governance team/service?

Please include job titles, role description and salaries and how the
service/team is structured itself.

Information Governance - (Freedom of Information, Data Protection,
Information Management, Records Management)

 

The Council does not have a service/team that would meet the terms of your
request.  What I have been able to establish is there are a number of
posts across a number of teams where the duties would include some of what
you have described as Information Governance.  I have listed these posts
below with a brief note of the parts of their job that would address the
terms of your request:

 

Information Governance Officer- To ensure that the Council manages
information and data governance compliance appropriately-Salary range
£37,648-£41,170

Senior Information and Improvement Officer- To provide efficient records
management systems and ensure that the Council is compliant with the
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act-Salary range £37,648-£41,170

Senior Business Support Assistant - To handle Freedom of Information and
Subject Access Request enquiries and to support with the provision of
efficient records / archive management systems-Salary range
£21,516-£23,432

 

East Renfrewshire Council offers the opportunity to apply to the Council
for a review of how we have dealt with your enquiry. If you wish to
proceed to review, please apply in writing within 40 working days to:
