We have completed all searches within Cambridgeshire Constabulary and
hereby enclose your response.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 0135/13

In reply to your request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, received 28/02/13.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) requires us to handle all
requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any
information released in response to a request is regarded as being
published, and therefore in the public domain without caveat.

Request

1. How many TASER authorities (I think there are two types, re particular
incident and carrying them on a routine patrol) were issued since they
were rolled out to non-firearms officers - and comapre than to a similair
time period last year

2. Was there any use by non firearms neighborhood officers in Cambridge in
that time?
Separate into drawn, arced, red dotted, and fired (directly / with barbs).
Number of shocks and duration of shocks for each inciden.

3. When did non firearms officers start to routinley carry the weapons in
Cambridge.

4. Was there TASER use during the EDL protest in Cambridge on February 23
and how many TASERs were out on the day, from which forces.

5. Lastly, please supply any relevant reports to the Police commissioner
or responses now he is ultimately in charge of strategic direction.

We have completed all searches within Cambridgeshire Constabulary and
hereby enclose your response.

1. Cambridgeshire Police do not have any non firearms taser officers at
present.
