Information Advice and Guidance tender
Dear Haringey Borough Council,
In 2015 the council after various consultation sessions restructured the Information Advice and Guidance tender. Subsequently, Haringey CAB together with HAIL and Public Voice were awarded all four lots.
Please provide the number of other organisations (apart from the successful ones named above) which submitted bids for the tender, and if possible please provide the bidders' names and value offered for each bid.
Yours faithfully,
Ranjan Balakumaran

Dear Mr Balakumaran,
Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/7461418
Thank you for your request for information received on 01 June 2018, in
which you asked for the following information:
In 2015 the council after various consultation sessions restructured the
Information Advice and Guidance tender. Subsequently, Haringey CAB
together with HAIL and Public Voice were awarded all four lots.
Please provide the number of other organisations (apart from the
successful ones named above) which submitted bids for the tender, and if
possible please provide the bidders' names and value offered for each bid.
My response is as follows:
Six organisations were involved in the tender process. Section 43 of the
Freedom of Information Act allows us to withhold information if to provide
it would be likely to prejudice the commercial interests of any person and
it is in the public interest to withhold the information. We think that to
disclose the names of the other bidders would prejudice the commercial
interests of those organisations. We do not believe it would be in the
public interest for this information to be placed in the public domain as
such information is commercially sensitive. This constitutes a formal
refusal to provide this information, as required under the Freedom of
Information Act.
If you have any further queries, or are unhappy with how we have dealt
with your request and wish to make a complaint, please contact the
Feedback and Information Team as below. (Please note you should do this
within two months of receiving this response.)
