(a) what analysis has been conducted to ascertain whether these goods or services meet contractual and/or legal requirements;
(b) what contractual or other recourse exists to reclaim in respect of goods or services that are defective, substandard or delivered in contravention of the law;

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT REQUEST
I refer to your Freedom of Information request in relation to Funding to
Stonewall.
Right of Access
Section 1(1) of the Act provides any person making a request for
information to a public authority is entitled.
(a) to be informed in writing by the public authority whether it holds
information of the description specified in the request (which Section
1(6) of the Act designates as the "duty to confirm or deny"), and
(b) if that is the case, to have that information communicated to him.
The right is to obtain access to the information itself and not to the
document or record which contains it.
The Act creates a general right of access to information held by public
authorities subject to various exemptions.
Northumberland County Council confirms that it holds the information you
have requested, please see the following information in response.
Q.1 In respect of each of the years 2015-2021, please confirm what funding

A.2c We have responded to this question following previous FOI requests.
However, to clarify:

2018-19 - £1.740
2019/20 - £4,560
2020/21 - £4,380
We have not provided Stonewall Equality Limited with any direct grants
(limited or unlimited). Payments cover goods and services - the bulk of
the expenditure relates to membership of the Diversity
Champions Programme with the remainder covering attendance at conferences
and educational materials.
Q.3 Where the funding in 1 above has been by way of payment for goods or
services, please specify:

A.i) None. Payments did not exceed the relevant threshold as set out in
the Council's Finance and Contract Rules and no tendering process was
necessary.

A.ii) None. Membership of Stonewall is exclusive to Stonewall
