Dear Staffordshire University,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Staffordshire University's handling of my FOI request 'Information about your dealings with Stonewall #DontSubmitToStonewall'.

I have written an identical FoI to a number of Universities, small and large, and received a considerable amount of information from them all. I'm sorry, but I think that you should be able to provide answers to some or hopefully all of my questions.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/i...

Yours faithfully,

U. Winfield

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Having conducted an internal review, we confirm as previously advised that we do not hold information relating to questions 1, 2 and 4 of your request. Questions 3,5 and 6, the University maintains its position in that disclosure would likely prejudice the commercial interests and is therefore exempt from disclosure. In addition, correspondence is confidential (section 41FOIA), and confidentiality would be adversely affected by disclosure. It is in the public interest to ensure that correspondence with organisations and the University is discussed with confidence and are therefore not deterred by the prospect of disclosure to the public at large of sensitive and confidential commercial information.

The University has considered the public interest and in all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Regards,

Staffordshire University
