Dear Miss Byrne,

We write in connection with your request for Freedom of Information
request dated 6th February concerning communication with Stonewall.

The University will not be able to complete its response to your request
by the deadline date of 5th March. This is due to consideration being
given to the application of a qualified exemption, and as such will
require further consideration regarding the public interest test. Your new
deadline is 7th April 2021.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will endeavour to provide
an appropriate response within this new timescale.

Kind regards

FOI Team

SecOInformation Governance, University of Bristol

 Dear Ms Byrne,

We write further to your email dated 6th February 2021 requesting
information on the University of Bristol's application to Stonewall. We
apologise for the delay in responding. In line with government advice, the
University has put in place measures to protect staff and students during
the current Covid-19 pandemic, including staff working from home. We hope
you will appreciate that this has led to some unavoidable disruption and
increased workloads, and we regret that we have not been able to respond
to requests as quickly as we would wish.

Due to the amount of time that has passed it may be that you no longer
require the information. We would be grateful if you could confirm, by
reply to [University of Bristol request email] (quoting our reference
FOI2171), whether you still require the information you requested. If we
do not hear from you within ten days, we will assume you are withdrawing
your request.

Kind regards
