1. How many Apple Mac computers does the University own, and what is the management tool used for these (if any?)

2. How many iPhones or iPads are owned by the University and what is the management tool used for these (if any?)

3. How many people are employed by the University to manage Macs and iPhones/iPads? Is this their sole responsibility?

3a. Please also provide their contact details (including Job Title) if possible.

you made to Coventry University in respect of apple devices.

 

1. How many Apple Mac computers does the University own, and what is the

We manage 1515 Macs (iMacs and MacBooks) which are managed with Jamf Pro
and Endpoint/Intune.

 

2. How many iPhones or iPads are owned by the University and what is the
management tool used for these (if any?)

iPhones/iPads? Is this their sole responsibility?

We do not have anyone specifically employed to manage Apple devices.

 

3a. Please also provide their contact details (including Job Title) if
possible.

 

All devices are managed by our Desktop Team. We are not obliged, under
section 40 (2) and section 40(3) of the Freedom of Information Act, to
provide information where the information requested is the personal
information of another person or the release of the information would
contravene the Data Protection principles.

We support all devices but no one is specifically employed solely to
support Apple products.
