Information about grammar school pupils

Joanne Bartley made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Education Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Education,

Please provide an extract from the National Pupil Database to provide details of selective secondary schools (grammar schools) to include the following details for each school on that list:

· URN,

· School Name,

· Local authority where school is located,

· Total children on roll (KS3 & KS4 only)

· Number of pupils not found in the school census in a year 6 class (ie. having no record of the pupil attending a state primary school.) (KS3 & KS4 only)

· Number of children who live outside the local authority (KS3 & KS4 only)

· Number of children in receipt of Free School Meals (KS3 & KS4 only)

· Number of children who have been in receipt of Free School Meals within the last six years (KS3 & KS4 only)

This is a follow-up to a request completed in 2021 which was allocated the reference 2021-0037352. I. Ideally I would like the data in the same format in Excel, so I can make comparisons with the previous information. Thank you for your help with this request.

Yours faithfully,

Joanne Bartley
