Dear Information Requests,
thank you for your response however that was the order that was made in 2013 as advertised in the Barnsley Chronicle of the 19/07/2013.
the order I was looking to find out about was the proposed order that was advertised In the London gazette dated the 12/01/2015?
Yours sincerely,
angela
Dear Angela
I have contacted the service who dealt with your request and they have had a look in the archives for the London Gazette and found the proposal notice for the order.
https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/2259...
From reading the description and looking on google street view, no 50mph signs have been installed at the points mentioned. This would concur with the response provided, as the road is a trunk road then a statutory instrument(SI) would have been made following the proposal notice. Since no SI can be found it can only be assumed that Highways England did not progress the 50mph proposal.
However, to confirm this you will need to contact Highways England as they are responsible for this trunk road.
Kind Regards
Jane Buchan
