I apologise for the length of time it has taken to respond to your request for information. It has been considered and I am directed to inform you that Sodexo ( a PFI Partner of Wye Valley NHS Trust) recognises that it is the “relevant person” in respect of the Air Conditioning Systems. In that capacity, it has a responsibility to procure (and hold) a suitable report by an independent energy assessor accredited under a scheme approved by the Secretary of State and that is what it has done. Sodexo holds ISO 14001 accreditation.

Q. What was the order value of the works placed with the Company which undertook the work? [Response:- This information is not held by the Trust, as the Trust did not place the order.]

Q. Provide a breakdown of the price per building if available. [Response:- This information is not held by the Trust.]

Q. How many Certificates were produced? [ Not known as this time- as part of the Display Energy Certificates(DEC) the accommodation blocks were reviewed and given EPC Certificates. The Trust uses an external company to carry out the DEC certificates and it is in the middle of completion. EPCs will be updated as changes have been made to the accommodation blocks)

Q. Was the Assessor independent as required under the Regulations? [Response:- Yes, CIBSE certification scheme accredited.]

Q. Name the Assessor organisation. [Response:- EMS Ltd, Unit 11, Rockfield, Hereford, HR1 2UA.]
