Thank you for your request for information which is being dealt with under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

You have requested "where if online which newspaper(s) the Council advertises all public notices, including planning TROS Path Diversion, Stopping Up orders to name a few".

You have also requested "if the Council's traffic regulation orders are available online and if not, does the Council have a list of consultees and is it possible for you to be sent copies of a schedule and plan when they are advertised". Although this part of your request is not a request for information I have responded to this issue later in this e-mail.

Your request has been formulated in a general manner and therefore I have considered the notices you have expressly referred to and other similar functions. This may not include all the public notices which the Council issues and therefore if you feel this does not answer your request please could you let me know the details of the other information you require. Details of any additional notices you require will be treat as a new request and the Council will have a further 20 working days to respond to the request.

The traffic regulation order notices, road humps proposed under the Highways Act 1980 and pedestrian crossings pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 are advertised in the Newcastle Journal newspaper. The permanent traffic regulation orders, road humps and pedestrian crossings are also included on Letstalk Newcastle website for the duration of the objection period. The link to this website is as follows: https://letstalknewcastle.co.uk/ under "Traffic related consultations". You have asked whether you can be added to a list of consultees. Although you will not be able to added to the list of consultees you can register and see the new proposed Orders and make comments on them. If you need to see the Schedule and plan for a permanent traffic regulation order these can be inspected at Customer Services, Newcastle Central Library, Charles Avison Building, 33 New Bridge Street West, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8AX between 10.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and Newcastle Civic Centre, Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8QH between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday. If you do not wish to register with Letstalk Newcastle you can still view the traffic regulation orders by clicking on "Traffic Related Consultations" on the front page of the site.

In connection with planning applications, where a press notice is required the details of the application is published in the Newcastle Journal newspaper. All planning applications are available to view on the Council's Public Access website at: http://www.newcastle.gov.uk/planning-and....

In relation to public rights of way/highway notices which include footpath/bridleway orders and stopping up orders these are advertised in the Newcastle Journal. Some stopping up orders are also advertised in the London Gazette depending upon the requirements of the appropriate regulations.

In relation to disposals of open space under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 these are advertised in the Newcastle Journal.

All of the Members Allowances statutory notices (IRP recommendations to City Council; City Council's agreement as to the level of allowances; statement of allowances paid) are all published in the Newcastle Journal and on Newcastle Council's website under "Members Allowances".

There are also statutory notices advertising vacancies for independent co-optees (Standards Committee, IRP, Audit Committee, Overview & Scrutiny) are published in the Newcastle Journal and online on the North East Jobs website.
