Ian Nicholls, North York Moors National Park Authority

Angela, thank you for your recent request under the Freedom of Information
Act. The answers to your questions are as follows;

·         Public notices affecting public rights of way appear on the
Authority’s website here:

[1]http://www.northyorkmoors.org.uk/about-u...

Traffic Regulation Orders are usually made by the Highway Authorities:
North Yorkshire County Council and Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council
rather than the National Park Authority.

·         In terms of public notices in relation to planning applications,
if a development is considered to affect a Public Right of Way we are
required under the Town and Country Planning (Development Management
Procedure) (England) Order 2015 to advertise the application in a
newspaper circulating in the vicinity. The papers we advertise in are the:

Malton Gazette;

Whitby Gazette;

Scarborough Evening News; and

Darlington and Stockton Times

·         Enforcement notices available online and can be searched using
the address below:

I confirm that the Authority is not withholding any information from you.
If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely

Dear Ian Nicholls,

Yours sincerely,

angela

Ian Nicholls, North York Moors National Park Authority

Hi Angela, thanks for your email - I've clicked on the link that you
mentioned and it gets to the enforcement search area which will then allow
you to access the information that you need.

If you haven't already done so, it would be worth copy and pasting the
link into your browser to see if that works.

Yours sincerely
Ian Nicholls

Hi Angela, I'm sorry about that. Is there any chance that you could let me
have your phone number and I'll give you a call to see if we can get this
sorted out for you? I have tried the link again and it is working from
here, so it is a bit of a mystery.

Regards, Ian Nicholls.
