Dear Angela,

Thank you for your request for information.

Please find the response below.

Can you please confirm where, if online, and which newspaper(s) you advertise all your public notice, including planning, TROS, Path Diversion to name a few

Temporary and Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders are advertised online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices and in the following newspapers (depending on location):-

Darlington & Stockton Times
Craven Herald
Harrogate Advertiser
Selby Times
Pontefract & Castleford Express
Ryedale Gazette & Herald
Whitby Gazette
Scarborough News
Easingwold Advertiser

Public Rights of Way Notices are advertised online at http://www.northyorks.gov.uk/article/266... and in the newspapers listed above.

Planning: The County Council’s Online Planning Register available at https://onlineplanningregister.northyork... and the in the newspapers named above.

If your enforcement register is available online and if not ascertain how many planning enforcement notices(all) were served in 2016 and copy of register.

This information is reported every quarter to the Council’s Planning & Regulatory Functions Committee available to view at http://democracy.northyorks.gov.uk/commi... None were served in 2016.

If your TROS are available online and if not, do you have a list of consultees?

TROs are only available online during the period of closure (for temporary closures) and (for permanent TROs) during the period for objecting to the proposal (minimum 21 days) and during the period for making a High Court Challenge once the Order has been made (six weeks) – there is no online library listing every historic TRO in the County. The statutory consultees for Permanent TROs are set out in Regulation 6 of the Local Authorities’ Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 – depending on the location, there may be other (local) organisations representing persons likely to be affected by any provision in the Order
