Infiltration of cocaine in the UK

Crown Prosecution Service did not have the information requested.

Dear Crown Prosecution Service,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I am seeking the following pieces of information in relation to the infiltration of cocaine in the UK.

1) How many pounds of cocaine have been seized in the past five years?
2) Where have the major cocaine busts taken place?
3) Which five London boroughs have the highest amount of cocaine related arrests?
4) Is cocaine more likely to be seized in airports or seaport?
5) Which airport and seaport have the most amount of cocaine busts?
6) How many cocaine mules have been arrested in the past five years?
7) Has a police officer ever been arrested on cocaine related charges? If so how many and for what crime?
8) Has a politician or public servant ever been arrested on cocaine related charges? If so how many and for what crime?
9) What part of the world does most of the cocaine seized come from?
10) How many cocaine suspected dealers in London? What are the top five most active boroughs?

I would like this information annually, for the past five years up
until the time my request is answered.

Some parts of this request may be easier to answer than others, and
should this prove to be the case I would ask that you release the
available data as soon as possible rather than hold up the entire
request.

I would prefer to receive this information electronically. If the
decision is made to withhold some of this data using exemptions in
Act, please inform me of that fact and cite the exemptions used.

If you need any clarification then please contact me at the email
listed. Under your section 16 duty to provide advice and assistance
I would expect you to contact me if you find this request
unmanageable in any way before the twentieth working day.

I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have
received this request, and I look forward to hearing from you in
the near future.

Yours faithfully,

Navneet Pall
