Industrial Strike Action Information

The request was successful.

Dear Ayrshire College,

It is my understanding that Unison the Union and other affiliated unions within the NJNC framework for support staff within your college took industrial strike action on the 6th September 2016 & 27th September 2016.

I would be grateful if you could advise the following:

The total number of support staff union members of Unison or any other affiliated union within the NJNC framework that participated in this industrial action by not attending college for work on each day?

Please also include the total cost of salary savings to the college in relation to each specific day?

To be clear, any union member who did not turn up for work and was recorded as a member of staff participating in industrial strike action and therefore did not receive any pay for each day thereby reducing the salary bill.

Please confirm receipt of this request by return, and I shall look forward to receiving your response within the given timescales.

Yours faithfully,

Moira Niven
