Dear Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (Northern Ireland),
I seek the following information under the UK Freedom of Information Act concerning grants awarded by the Industrial Development Board (IDB) predecessor of Invest NI to Randox Laboratories Ltd and all its subsidiaries, between 1 January 1982- 31 December 2001.

Please supply full details of all IDB grants awarded to Randox Laboratories Ltd and its subsidiaries between 1 January 1982 to 31 December 2001.

What is the total Industrial Development Board grant aid support given to Randox laboratories Ltd between 1January 1982 to 31 December 2001?

4. How were criteria established to ensure value for money? Were
targets achieved for each grant? If targets were not met were
monies recovered, provide financial data on any subsequent
recoveries and losses.

internal review of FOI 799.

 

As per the section 45 code of practice under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, Invest NI has a duty to have an internal review process for
those applicants who are dissatisfied with its initial decision.

 

This internal review is a first stage review for applicants prior to the
involvement of the Information Commissioner.  The Internal Reviewer is
independent from the initial decision maker and considers the information
provided against that which was requested, as well as conducting a full
review of the papers associated with the request. 

 

This process will normally be completed within 20 working days.  A
response will be issued to you no later than 10^th February 2015. In the
event that we will be unable to meet this deadline we will advise you
accordingly.
