Dear Aberystwyth University,
Under the Freedom of Information Act, please provide the following information as detailed below:
Please provide copies of all documents and communications regarding the University’s preparations for the joint UCU/UNISON/UNITE industrial action taken on Thursday 31st October 2013, which were created or sent between September 1st 2013 and November 1st 2013 (inclusive).
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would be grateful for a reply within 20 working days of your receipt of this request.
I would prefer to receive this information electronically. If the decision is made to withhold some of this data, using exceptions in the Act, please inform me of that fact, and cite the exemptions used.
Under your Section 16 responsibility to provide advice and assistance, I would be grateful if you could contact me if you find this request unmanageable in any way.

Dear Mrs Ferrie,
Thank you for your request for information, received by Aberystwyth
University on 4^th November. You have asked for “all documents and
communications regarding the University’s preparations for the joint
UCU/UNISON/UNITE industrial action”. Given the scope of your request,
particularly with regard to ‘communications’, we estimate that the cost of
complying would exceed the appropriate limit of £450.
In order for us to comply with your request, can I ask you to narrow its
scope to communications between specific departments or services and/or
between specific members of staff?
The deadline date for responding to this request for information is 2^nd
December 2013. However, the ‘clock’ will stop until we receive the above
clarification. You will then receive a response as soon as possible, and
in any event not later than 20 working days.
