Indian variants cases of Covid in Nuneaton between 1st March and 16th May.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Warwickshire County Council,

It become known that we would have COVID Surge testing in Nuneaton as results of an Indian variant of Covid around the 13th of May 2021. It seems the outbreak was in Abbey Ward but cases of Covid by Middle layer super output area show zero cases in Abbey Ward between 27th April and 11th May.

Please provide all data that you hold about the number of Indian variants cases of Covid in Nuneaton between 1st March and 16th May.

1) Please provide the number of cases over time ie per day or week over that period.
2) Please provide the of cases number by Ward and/or MSOA
3) Please provide data by school setting.
4) please provide the timeline for the bid to fund surge testing in Nuneaton.

I do not require data on individuals but it is of massive public interests to know when and where the variant was detected.

Yours faithfully,

Keith Kondakor

Warwickshire County Council

Dear Warwickshire County Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Warwickshire County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Indian variants cases of Covid in Nuneaton between 1st March and 16th May.'.

On the first part of my request I asked "Please provide the number of cases over time ie per day or week over that period" - you have only given me the total cases. Please review this to provide cases over time, ie something like the number each week.

On the second part "Please provide the of cases number by Ward and / or MSOA?" can you at least indentify how many cases where inside the wards you did the surge testing in and how many elsewhere.
On the 3rd part can you state how many are in school setting.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/i...

Yours faithfully,

keith Kondakor
