Which was received on 17 December 2018 and I am writing to acknowledge
receipt of this request.

 

I can confirm that your request is being dealt with under the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).  However, I must advise
you that following a search of our paper and electronic records, I have
established that the information you requested is not held by the Health
and Safety Executive.

                               

Under regulation 18 of the Offshore Installations and Wells (Design and
Construction etc.) Regulations 1996 (DCR) it is the well operator’s duty
to make arrangements for the examination of the well by an independent and
competent person. There is no duty placed on the well operator to provide
HSE with the name of that person, or the dates of well examinations.
