I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Also, the email addresses we hold are those provided by the school for communications rather than specifically for a named person. Therefore, I have been able to supply you with the unique reference number (URN), the local authority name, school name, address, email address where possible, head teacher’s name and type, for all independent schools in England. This information is enclosed in the attached spreadsheet.

The information I have provided was taken from Edubase. Edubase holds some information on schools in Wales which can be accessed at the following link: http://www.education.gov.uk/edubase/home...

If you do not have access to the Internet at home, you may be able to use facilities at your local public library.

If you have any queries about this letter, please contact me. Please remember to quote the reference number 2015-0052646 in any future communications.

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you should make a complaint to the Department by writing to me within two calendar months of the date of this letter.
