Further to your email below, I can confirm that the Authority has not
convened a panel as a result of a request from the Chief Constable to,
hear a case to decide whether a police officer should be dismissed as a
result of an allegation of having an incompatible business interest under
section 7 police regulations 2003. We have held a number of Business
Interest Appeals, where an officer is appealing the decision of the
Constabulary, but if it is deemed to be incompatible, the officer is told
and he/she is unable to commence that business interest.

I apologise if you did not receive our response to your original request
within the requisite timescales.
