Income received during Universal Credit waiting days
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
DMG Memo 16/15 states "Note 2: Earnings that are received during the waiting days period are not taken into account. "
However I have been told by a DWP staff member that this does not apply to all income - that final earnings paid in a 7 day waiting period will count as income for the first monthly assessment period.
Please could you send me the regulation which shows that some income can be taken into account before the start of the first monthly assessment period.
Thank you
Yours faithfully,
Glenys Harriman
