Dear Lin,

Thank you for your email, reference CAS-71366.

All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups
that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for
Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve
individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their
administration and activities.

We are not responsible for APPGs, their membership or their administration
and as such. The Office of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards is
responsible for the day to day administration of the rules on APPGs. You
can contact them on [1][email address] or 020 7219 0401.
Further information on APPGs can be found at the following address:

Under the MPs’ Scheme of Business Costs and Expenses (‘the Scheme’), MPs
can claim reimbursement for expenditure incurred in the performance of
their parliamentary functions. Where an MP has been requested to conduct a
journey on behalf of an APPG, the costs of that journey can be reimbursed
under the Scheme. Details of all claim made by MPs are published on our
website: [3]https://www.theipsa.org.uk/mp-costs/.

Kind regards,
