Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Croydon Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Income and Expenditure Bowling Clubs'.

You insult my intelligence. You must be able to respond to my request as I am asking a basic question of how Croydon Council keeps track of income and expenditure. If you persist with this stupidity I will contact your Auditors, the Improvement Board and the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government.

I expect a full response without any delay.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Croydon Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Income and Expenditure Bowling Clubs'.

I am flabbergasted by your latest response. I do not believe that Croydon Council does not have a record of the income received from membership fees. The money must be paid to a bank account before it is passed to the maintenance team. Those are two opportunities where the receipt is recorded and the maintenance department must have a record of it being passed and received by them.

I will give you one last chance to reply fully to my request. If you insist in telling me that Croydon Council has no way of recording the receipt of membership fees or what is passed to another department my next action will be to contact your Auditors and the Interim Improvement Panel to advise them of this basic failing. A referral to the Information Commissioner will be made and a complaint lodged to the CEO of Croydon Council.

I also expect an accurate report on what expenditure is incurred on the bowling clubs.

Please respond in full within 14 days.
