Dear University of Wolverhampton,

I would like to ask the following Freedom of Information Act questions in relation to the Learning Disability Nursing Course you offer at this University.

1. As part of Learning Disability Nurse training, do you include sexual or romantic relationships, gender and sexual orientation issues, sex and relationships education and general sexual health in the curriculum in relation to the role of the Learning Disability Nurse? If yes, please go to questions 3 & 4. If no, please just answer question 2.
2. If no, why not?
3. If yes, how is this undertaken?

c. Seminars
d. Written assignment.
e. Placement.

4. Are the following specific topics covered?
a. Being LGBT and having an intellectual disability.

5. How do you support your staff and students to meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010’s protected characteristics, in particular regarding disability and sexuality?
