Incidents/assaults in Primary Schools

We're waiting for Lee Naylor to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Inverclyde Council,

I would like to request information regarding the number of reported assaults to teachers in each primary school for the past 3 years and if you could list the number per school that would be great.

Does the council hold information on what the process is when a teacher is assaulted by a pupil in Primary School?

Can you also provide the number of stress related sickness of teachers in primary schools for the last 2 years and list these by school.

Yours faithfully,

Lee Naylor

Good Afternoon Ms Naylor

I refer to your Freedom of Information request and trust that the
undernoted is helpful to you.

I would like to request information regarding the number of reported
assaults to teachers in each primary school for the past 3 years and if
you could list the number per school that would be great.

Please see information below.  The figures provided are for all primary
schools as to break them down by each individual primary school could
potentially identify individuals

Does the council hold information on what the process is when a teacher is
assaulted by a pupil in Primary School?

Process - There are critical incident forms to be filled in by the teacher
involved for reporting purposes.  One copy goes to Health and Safety and
the other goes to the central education office.

Can you also provide the number of stress related sickness of teachers in
primary schools for the last 2 years and list these by school.

Please see below.  Again, we are unable to break these figures down by
each individual school as this could potentially identify individuals.

Dear Rhona Turner,

Thank you for your reply.

Can you please submit these figures in an understandable format as it doesn't appear to be clear on this platform.

Maybe an excel speadsheet with clear categories and numbers would help.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Naylor
