This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Kent Fire and Rescue Service,

I have looked online for your incident data before submitting this request, and do note the the extensive incident data which you submit to the Home Office, but sadly this cannot be interrogated at a village or parish level.

I would be grateful for information covering a 12 month period (ideally the rolling year, October 2017 - October 2018) on any incidents Kent Fire and Rescue attended within the parish of Hurst Green, East Sussex (which includes the villages of Hurst Green, Swiftsden and Silver Hill) located close to the Kent border.

Specifically, please could you supply a table, or release a spreadsheet that contains the following information on each incident attended:

1) Date of incident
2) Specific location of incident (ideally, the Latitude, Longitude, Easting and Northing)
3) Information on the type of incident (road traffic collision, fire etc.)
4) Type of all units responding
5) Number of units responding
6) Response time from 999 call to arrival at incident

If there is anyway my request could be modified to reduce the cost of response to the Authority, please do contact me. Likewise if this data is published in an alternative, but accessible format which contains this data, please do kindly point me at this data source so I can withdraw this request.

Yours faithfully,

A Brown

Information Officer, Kent Fire and Rescue Service

Dear A Brown,

This parish falls within East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service’s ground, so
we have attended only a few incidents there. Because each 999 call was
received from another emergency service, we are unable to state the time
from the initial call to the arrival time.

Our response time from receiving the call is recorded for the two
co-responder incidents, the RTC incident was attended by East Sussex Fire
and Rescue Service who will hold the response time and the IRS record for
that incident.

Date Easting/Northing Incident Type Type of Number of Response
