Luke Traat, Gambling Commission

Dear Ms Bartlett,

Thank you for your request under the Freedom Information Act 2000.

In relation to your questions please see our response below;

We do not receive reports for games tested internally, all details are
held by the manufacturer.

Categories ý B2 and B3 must be tested via a Commission accredited test lab
(no option to be internally tested only). We don't hold which game titles
have been internally tested for FOBTs and that information would have to
come from the manufacturers.

Changes to games (pre-tested) do not necessarily trigger the need to
re-test via a lab (this is set out in the testing strategy), those changes
are generally non-reportable and held by the manufacturer for audit
purposes.

The above is set out within our testing strategy on our website, which can
be found [1]here.

Therefore the Commission does not hold the information you have requested.

Review of the decision

If you are unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your
Freedom of Information request and wish to make a complaint or request a
review of our decision, you should write to FOI Team, Gambling Commission,
4th floor, Victoria Square House, Victoria Square, Birmingham, B2 4BP.

If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner (ICO) for a decision. Generally,
the ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
procedure provided by the Gambling Commission.  The ICO can be contacted
at:  The Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane,
Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.

Kind Regards,

FOI Team
