Dear Charles Allan,

I am writing to confirm that the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust has now
completed its search for the information which you requested on 23rd
September 2019.

Please be advised we are applying a section 12 exemption. Please see
below.

1. For IM&T Services, please can you provide the amount of overtime, in
hours and minutes, and amount of money claimed for overtime within each
Team in IM&T Services. For each of these Teams, please can you also
include all reasons, submitted by members of staff, for claiming overtime.
Please can this information be provided by month.

2. For IM&T Services, please can you also provide the number of staff
working from home by Team. Within these Teams, please can you provide the
total number of hours spent working from home per week. Please can you
also include the reasons for allowing staff for working from home. If
there is a work from home policy, please can you provide this as well.

Section 12 of the FOIA provides an exemption from a public authority’s
obligation to comply with a request for information, where the cost of
compliance is estimated to exceed the appropriate limit.  As your request
would require us to look at individual records we anticipate that this
would take in excess of 18 hours and would apply a section 12 exemption. 

The information supplied to you continues to be protected by the

Dear Charles Allan,

We have taken another look at this request and we have, unfortunately, come to the decision that the section 12 exemption still applies to your request. This is because it would require us to review over 24,000 records individually in order to identify the time, the cost and the reason. We would also need to read through each record to identify homeworking as it is not recorded as a separate activity.
