Implementation

The request was successful.

Dear City of York Council,

Are you currently implementing a new Adult Social Care Case Management Software – Yes/No

If yes you are implementing a system then please provide what Adult Social Care Case Management Software are you implementing and when is the planned go-live date of all functionality as per the tender?
Is this the same with the dates on the tender documents? If not what is the difference
Have there been any additional costs outside the original contract for the implementation? If yes, please specify

If No you are not implementing an Adult Social Care Case Management Software, with regard to the last system you implemented how long in months from contract award date did the software to go live and the previous case management to be switched off?

Yours faithfully,

Bartek Polanski

Dear Mr Polanski

Firstly I would like to apologise for the late reply to your request for
information. This was my responsibility to fulfil your request, and should
have been completed when first requested.

To answer your question on the implementation of an adult social care
system, we last completed this in November 2016 when we moved from a 1^st
generation system called FrameworkI supplied by Core-logic, to there next
generation version called Mosaic. Therefore the answer to the first
question is no we are not currently implementing a system.

As the system could be more termed an “upgrade”, the answer to your
question on length between ontract award date to implementation, is better
answered by the time period between decision to move to new system and
implementation and this was approximately 9 months. There was no need to
switch off the previous system as was an “upgrade”.

Regards

Ian

To clarify, with regard to the last system you implemented, can you please provide these exact dates:

2. The exact Go-Live date by the winning supplier specified in the tender.
3. The exact Go-Live date by the winning supplier in their proposal.
4. The exact date the system went live across all services.
5. The exact date when the legacy system was switched off or you stopped paying maintenance for the system.

Yours sincerely,

Bartek Polanski

Dear Mr Polanski

Here are the updated responses/clarifications as requested.

1. The exact date on which you signed the contract for the new system. – 19th Feb 2016

2. The exact Go-Live date by the winning supplier specified in the tender. – We did not tender – this was a direct award through the framework.

3. The exact Go-Live date by the winning supplier in their proposal. – 31st July 2016

4. The exact date the system went live across all services. – 14th November 2016, a date we choose internally for operational, planning, risk and continuity reasons.

5. The exact date when the legacy system was switched off or you stopped paying maintenance for the system. – As per last response re: deemed closer to upgrade, this is in effect the same day as when the system went live, so 14th November 2016.

Regards

Ian
