Imperial Service Medal

The request was successful.

Magnus Ponsonby-Talbot

Dear Ministry of Defence,

Please confirm how many Imperial Service Medals have been awarded in the past five financial years, split out into TLBs (Army, Navy, RAF, DIO, DE&S etc).

Wikipedia states the ISM is available to "selected civil servants", I would therefore also like details about what criteria (other than “upon retirement”) is broadly used for eligibility in awarding them.

Yours faithfully,

Magnus

Dear [email address] on behalf of Defence Business Services Secretariat,

Thank you for your response.

However I do not accept your position. Surely, the MOD would have recorded information about how many people have been awarded the Imperial Service Medal even if, as you say you do not hold the policy, which I do accept.

I should be grateful if you could review this response.

Yours sincerely,

Magnus Ponsonby-Talbot
