Dear FOI Enquiries,

Thank you for your response.

I would draw your attention to Randall v Information Commissioner and Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (EA/2006/004 , 30 October 2007) which states that a reasonable estimate is required to support the application of Section 12. A reasonable estimate is one that is "…sensible , realistic and supported by cogent evidence". ICO guidance on Requests where the cost of compliance exceeds the appropriate limit sets out what might constitute cogent evidence. Please can you therefore provide evidence to support your decision to invoke Section 12.

I have considered how I might refine my request following your suggestions. I have limited the timeframe form 7th March to 16th March 2023 and have set out a revised search strategy below:

Gary Lineker and (Twitter or Tweet or Tweets or social media) limited to any of the following email domains - culture.gov.uk, cabinetoffice.gov.uk, conservatives.com

Yours sincerely,

David Hyett
