Impact on staff of 'Gladstone' the cat

We're waiting for David Ward to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Her Majesty’s Treasury,

Could you please provide confirmation of any assessment carried out on the impact on HMT staff of the introduction of the Treasury's cat Gladstone. In particular how the Department assessed and planned to deal with the health and wellbeing impacts on those staff with allergies to animals. Furthermore how HMT has ensured all civil servants have an equal opportunity to work at HMT and in all of its departments, regardless of such health conditions.

In addition to confirmation, please provide any documentation, emails or any other evidence related to such an assessment.

Yours faithfully,

David Ward

It seems to me that Treasury has over redacted on s40(2) on staff in Treasury, they are after all public servants and may be in Government publications of staff . Staff names and official contact numbers should, in my view, not be an issue (mobile phones are obviously different). Treasury failed to meet the target reply time, you are not the only person who has encountered this and it is one of a number of issues concerning HMT's attitude to release/non-release of their records.
