This research, being carried out by the Yorkshire and Humber Veterans Advisory and Pensions committee (Y & H VAPC), aims to investigate potential delays in addressing hearing loss issues across the Yorkshire and Humber region linked to appointment delays caused by patients arriving unable to take part in audiometric testing due to ear wax.
Q1.1 - Over the period Jan -Dec 2022 & Jan-Dec 2023 How many audiology appointments were lost/ postponed and/or aborted due earwax.
Q1.2 – How many audiology cases are identified with Veterans markers.
