Impact Assessment on 1950's Women following the Pension Act 1995
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Please may I request a copy of the Impact Assessment that was carried out prior to the introduction of the Pension Act 1995 when 1950s born Women's State Pension Age went from 60yrs to 65yrs.
What Impact financially or mentally and suicidal; and physically or in general was found as a result of the Impact Assessment? Women having to work longer in heavy work!
I cannot find any Impact Assessment on how the rise in the State Pension Age as a result of the 1995 Pension Act and how this rise of 5/6years would affect 1950s Women in general.
Please detail all forms of impact assessment that was considered before and after the Pension Act 1995.
Yours faithfully,
Ann Fenner
