Impact assessment for proposed “duty of care”
Dear Children’s Commissioner for England,
I read with interest your proposed “statutory duty of care” for online service providers.
I should be grateful if you could provide me with:
- any privacy impact assessment which you carried out, or other analysis of privacy risks arising from your proposal; and
- any assessment of other fundamental rights, including the right to receive and impart information under Article 13 of the
Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Yours faithfully,
Neil Brown
