Please consider the following as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

I am requesting data relating to the immigration status of people acting as sponsors for applicants for entry clearance as a spouse, same-sex partner or civil partner under Appendix FM.

For the years 2010-2019 inclusive, please disclose:

- the number of applications for entry clearance under Appendix FM sponsored by:
-- British nationals
-- People with Indefinite Leave to Remain
-- People with refugee status
-- Any other immigration status

- the numbers of which granted and refused

If this request is too wide or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the Act, you are required to advise and assist those seeking information.
