Dear Home Office,

Firstly, thank you for your co-operation with comparable requests, in which you have provided the number of individuals with positive Conclusive Grounds decisions (issued via the National Referral Mechanism) who have been held within immigration detention (case ref 52658).

Please provide the number of individuals with negative Conclusive Grounds decisions who have at any point been held in immigration detention during 2017 and 2018, represented as two separate year-end figures. Please note that this figure should encompass individuals who have been issued a NCG decision before, after, and during periods detention.
