Illicit drug use random testing policy and data analysis, at Number 10 Downing Street and in the House of Commons

The request was partially successful.

Dear Prime Minister's Office

HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK ACT

There is no justification for the use of illicit drugs in the workplace, so I should be grateful to receive any information you may have on

(a) your policy on illicit drugs testing (for amphetamines, cocaine, heroin, marijuana, methamphetamines, phencyclidine, opiates) in the blood, urine, hair, sweat or saliva - of people working at Number 10 Downing Street in 2018-2019 - and analysis thereof in compliance with the International Standard for laboratories (ISO 17025) Advice; and

(b) the data analysis results of random drug testing of offices and toilets at the House of Commons in 2018-2019.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully
Rachel Mawhood

Hello

My FOI request has not been fulfilled by the due date, and yesterday it was announced that a Member of Parliament is to be suspended for procuring cocaine. Are the two things, by any chance, connected?

I look forward to my FOI request being fulfilled.

Kind regards
Rachel Mawhood
