I would like to request the following data under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

1. How many drivers have been caught with an illegal number plate in Jan-Dec 2017, Jan-Dec 2018 and Jan-to date 2019.

2. Can you provide me with the number of illegal number plate incidences involving the following brands during the periods Jan-Dec 2017, Jan-Dec 2018 and Jan-to date 2019:

Toyota, Nissan, BMW, Audi, Range Rover, Land Rover, Ford, Kia, Fiat, Mini, Peugeot, Mazda, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Citroen, Suzuki, Skoda, Hyundai, Honda

3. How much is the fine for being caught with an illegal number plate?

Our response:

 

I believe the information you require can be found in our response to FOI
1264/19 which was sent to you on 24^th October 2019.

 

I have attached the information again for ease of reference. The
information relating to Mercedes can be found in row 17 for 2017 and 2018
and row 18 for 2019.
