Dear Rachel Firth,
Thank you for your reply.
However, the answers given by Mr Barker raise further questions:
In my request I only mentioned the Library being moved into the Town Hall, in Mr Barkers answer he mentioned the Library being moved into the “Former Visitor Information Space within the Ilkley Town Hall” - is that or has that ever been suggested as a possibility - if so by whom?
When was the last estates review undertaken of Ilkley Town Hall and building complex (including the library)?
When is the next estates review due to be carried out?
In what way was the statement misleading?
Who wrote the Library Profile document?
Why did they include the statement?
The Document also states the following in relation to Keighley Library:
Any plans to co-locate other service in the community managed library either council or other sector, what service and dates:
Considering a Health related hub along with annex.
Is this also a misleading statement?
Can you please share any communication between council departments and/or outside bodies (including but not exclusively) - emails, reports, minutes etc. relating to change of use/shared location of Keighley Library to a health hub?
Yours sincerely,
Patrick Griffin
