Dear Health and Safety Executive,

I would be grateful if you would disclose correspondence since June this year between you and IGas, with respect to the recent Planning Application to flow test the well (EP1).

I understand that you have obligations under the Boreholes Regs. 1995, the Well Design Regs. 1996, and the Petroleum Act 1998.

IGas are planning 141 HGV movements during the critical phases, which implies in excess of 5,000t of fluid being moved, which also brings the Infrastructure Act 2015, Hydraulic Regulations into play.

You will no doubt be aware that they breached their planning permission in sinking this well. The original planning application was for coal bed methane development to a maximum of 900m, and to which they developed down to 2,000m breaching intended development, truck movements, risk assessments etc. I would also be grateful for any correspondence relating to this.

Yours faithfully,

Colin Watson
