If the registration of a car, exported in 1968, is still available to be reclaimed
Dear Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency,
Importing a Vauxhall Ventora registered TXD 107G, exported to Australia in 1968.
I wish to import this car, which 'cannot be found' on the current database.
Being of significant historical interest, it is a condition of the import to recover the number.
I would appreciate confirmation that the number is still available to be reclaimed and
has not been deleted from the current database, for example, on a retention certificate.
The car has a current Australian title in Sydney and is roadworthy.
Yours sincerely
David Scott
