ICT Spend on Case Management Systems

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Swindon Borough Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Swindon Borough Council,

Please can you provide the following information:
1. The software providers your Local Authority uses for:
• Your Education Management Information System (Local Authority use for admissions, LAC, SEND, Early Years etc.)
• The National Client Caseload Information System (NCCIS) returns to the Department for Education
• Managing the performance of the Youth Offending Team and the case management of individual young people
• Your Children’s Centre Management Information System

2. The amount paid to these suppliers annually for support and maintenance.

3. The contract renewal dates and notice period you are required to give for each.

4. The contract manager responsible for market engagement when the contracts end.

the Department for Education – CAPITA one
•       Managing the performance of the Youth Offending Team and the case
management of individual young people – Capita ONE.
•       Your Children’s Centre Management Information System – Swindon
does not have children centres, but uses CAPITA One CSS for family
centres.

2.      The amount paid to these suppliers annually for support and
maintenance. – Capita ONE £185,000.

3.      The contract renewal dates and notice period you are required to
give for each.- Capita ONE March 2022 – 6 months.

4.      The contract manager responsible for market engagement when the
contracts end.  Business Systems Manager, Information & Technology.
