Dear Mr Jones

We write in response to your Freedom of Information request.

Please be advised that a copy of the Council's Digital Strategy can be found on our website at www.wirral.gov.uk as part of the "Wirral Plan: a 2020 Vision", "Wirral Plan Strategies".

https://www.wirral.gov.uk/sites/default/...

With regards to the second part of your request, a list of current ICT contracts with full contract details, please be advised that under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if it is estimated that to do so would exceed the appropriate limit, currently set at 18.5 hours. Complying with your request would exceed this limit and as such the Council relies on section 12 (1) to refuse your request.

Please note however that information relating to contracts awarded by Wirral Council can be found on The Chest, the North West's Local Authority Procurement register:-

https://www.the-chest.org.uk/procontract...

You can complete an advanced search to enable you to view all suppliers on the contracts register.

You have the right under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to ask for an internal review of the refusal of the information requested. Please direct any request for an internal review to [Wirral Borough Council request email] and your request will be allocated to another officer for review.

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of an internal review you also have the right to complain to the information Commissioner, who can be contacted at https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/

Yours sincerely

With regard to contracts and your reference to the Chest all contracts are not visible as some are procured via ICT frameworks.

Please can you provide me a copy of all ICT contracts as requested as part of your contract register.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Jones

Further to your email below, we can advise that Wirral Council’s Digital
Strategy is included within the Plan and can be found at:

With regards to your request for information on all ICT contracts, under
Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities are
not required to comply with a request for information if it is estimated
that to do so would exceed the appropriate limit, currently set at 18.5
hours. Given the wide ranging scope of your enquiry it is considered that
to do so would require officer time in excess of this limit and as such
the Council relies on section 12 (1) to refuse your request.

If you are able to reduce the scope of your request, i.e. specifying a
particular area of interest within the broad ICT spectrum, we will
endeavour to assist you within the legislative provisions.

You have the right under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000
to ask for an internal review of the refusal of the information requested.
Please direct any request for an internal review to
[3][Wirral Borough Council request email] and your request will be allocated to
another officer for review.

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of an internal review you also
have the right to complain to the information Commissioner, who can be
contacted at [4]https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/

Yours sincerely
