ICO delegation to IAPP event
Dear Information Commissioner's Office,
The Information Commissioner has announced that he led what was described as a 'delegation' to the IAPP's Global Privacy Summit in Washington DC. I would like to request the following information about the ICO visit to the USA.
1) The full itinerary of the trip for each attendee, including the trip's total duration, all locations and organisations visited, and the purpose for which each place was visited. This should include meetings taking place outside of the IAPP event, if such meetings were arranged.
2) The total number of ICO officers on the trip.
3) The names and job titles of all those on the trip, whether they participated in the IAPP event or not.
4) The total cost of the trip, broken down into hotels, flights and other expenses - I appreciate that some expenses may not be recorded yet, but I would like to receive what information is currently held.
5) The class of flight taken by each person, and the rating of hotels stayed at, if held.
6) The content of any prepared speeches at the IAPP event, or any notes prepared by / for those participating in panels or similar sessions.
Yours faithfully,
Jenny Shoesmith
