I would like to know how many GPS and doctors are actually on call during weekends

We're waiting for Patrick to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear NHS England,

I am requesting the information on how many GPs in Somerset and Wiltshire are actually on call during weekends and how many people may miss out on care when there isn't a doctor on call?

I would be very interested to know how often it is that a surgery like Savernake Hospital in Marlborough, or West Mendip Hospital in Glastonbury, has to rely on nurses when doctors should or could be on call over the weekend period.

Yours faithfully,

Patrick Mclean
