I need urgent help in finding my bag

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Transport for London should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Transport for London
I urgently need a CCTV footage of mitcham eastfields station between 6pm-9.30pm on 28 october.I left my bag on the platform came back but didn't see it.please this is important to me. I am a student with my visa and school things in it thank you.

Thank you for your email requesting a CCTV footage. Sorry to hear that your bag has been stolen. Your request has been treated as a ‘Subject Access’ request, covered by the Data Protection Act 1998. Can you please fill in the attached Subject Access Request form and return it as soon as you can as such images are only retained for a certain period of time from the date of capture, in accordance with TfL’s data retention policies in this operational area.

Please note that we will process your subject access request within 40 calendar days from the date on which we receive your completed subject access request form/fee payment/proof of identity.

Mitcham Eastfields isn't a TfL operated station - it is a Southern station.
Wouldn't a call to the Southern lost property office be a better first step?
The Police you would need to deal with is British Transport Police.
